Terms and Conditions of Participation
By signing this agreement, you (hereinafter referred to as "the Participant") acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions for your participation in the Serving Islam Team and Connect Institute Finding Seekers Programme (hereinafter referred to as "the Programme").
Programme Confirmation and Purpose
By signing, the Participant confirms their enrollment in the Programme and agrees to abide by all terms and conditions set forth by the organizers. The Programme is specifically designed for single Muslims residing in Hong Kong who are seeking halal marriage opportunities. It has been curated with the support and endorsement of local scholars. Participation is strictly limited to those with valid HKID who are unmarried. The Programme does not accommodate individuals who are married or seeking additional spouses (e.g., a second, third, or fourth wife).
Accuracy of Information
The Participant agrees to provide accurate and truthful personal information to the organizers. Should any information provided be found to have been altered or fabricated, the organizers reserve the right to terminate the Participant's enrollment immediately and without notice.
Programme Process and Parental Involvement
The Programme consists of a four-step process, during which parents or guardians will not be involved until a suitable match has been identified. All participants are required to complete the full Programme in its entirety before any matchmaking will be finalized.
Matchmaking Process and Liability
The matchmaking process will be conducted on a best-effort basis by Serving Islam Team and Connect Institute. The organizers do not guarantee the outcome or success of any potential match. It is the sole responsibility of the Participant and their parent(s) or guardian(s) to assess the suitability of the match and to decide whether to proceed with a marital union (nikkah).
Marriage Outcome and Further Guidance
The organizers will not be held liable for the outcome of any marriage resulting from the Programme, as the organizers' role is limited to facilitating opportunities for halal unions. Should further marriage advice or assistance be required, the Participant and their parent(s) or guardian(s) are strongly encouraged to seek guidance from local Imams or masajid.
Participant Conduct and Cooperation
The Participant and their parent(s) or guardian(s) are expected to fully cooperate with the organizers and adhere to all rules and regulations stipulated by the Programme. Any failure to comply with the terms and conditions may result in the Participant's immediate removal from the Programme.
Disclaimer of Liability
The organizers expressly disclaim any liability for the outcome of any marriage or relationship resulting from the Programme. The role of Serving Islam Team and Connect Institute is limited to providing a structured and halal environment for participants to seek potential matches.
By signing this agreement, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions in their entirety.
